“Eight Moons” is an animated image representative of the 8 commonly recognized lunar phases of the 28 day lunar cycle. Each of the 8 lunar phases is represented by a symbolic glyph crafted onto the face of a rotating 8-sided octahedron.
Each of the 8 lunar glyph symbols are representative of a meaningful period of time:
New Moon: signifies new beginnings.
Waxing Crescent: signifies intention.
First Quarter: signifies decision making.
Waxing Gibbous: signifies refinement.
Full Moon: signifies release and sealing of intention.
Waning Gibbous: signifies gratitude.
Last Quarter: signifies forgiveness.
Waning Crescent: signifies surrender.
